This page explains the optional analytics technology used on the YSMF website and how you can control it.

Your choice

Google Analytics is off by default. The Google Analytics tag is not loaded unless you choose Accept analytics. You can reject non-essential analytics and continue using the site normally.

Preference storage

The site stores your cookie choice in your browser's local storage under ysmf_cookie_consent_v1. This is used only to remember your choice and is refreshed when you make a new choice. The site asks again after approximately 180 days.

Google Analytics 4

If you accept analytics, YSMF uses Google Analytics 4 with measurement ID G-NJK2H4R8VE to understand visits, page usage and traffic sources. Google Analytics may set first-party cookies including _ga and _ga_<container-id>.

Google documents a default expiry of up to two years for those GA4 cookies. Analytics is used to understand website performance rather than to make the store necessary functions work.

Changing your choice

Use the Cookie settings button at the bottom of the website at any time. If you change from accepted to rejected, YSMF stops loading analytics on the next page load and attempts to remove YSMF Google Analytics cookies from this site.

Other services

Links or checkout services operated by third parties may use their own cookies or similar technologies under their own notices. This policy covers the custom YSMF website analytics setup described above.
